Well… it was some cloudy sad weather today, so i did what everyone else would do on such a day, namely moved my blog! WordPress: Tiger-Administration
If you use wordpress, you should really check out WordPress Tiger Administration. I like it much more. Its basically a skin for your wordpress administartion page, but one that has a much cleaner look that and is easier to read. Not to mention it doesn’t make you feel like you’re drowning in a sea of blue – by which wordpress users are normally greeted.

So… after looking about the net I discovered that there aren’t that many reviews of many products that i own, especially dj equipment. Anyway I’ve decided I’m gonna try to do video reviews of equipment that i own. Hopefully they will turn out decent

Internet Explorer 7
IE 7 is out! I saw this on slashdot RSS this morning. I mean clearly Microsoft has some amazing software engineers if they can finally copy features such as. Tabs, RSS, but what really shocked was the print prieview which is similar to the one that i first saw on Mac OS X.

I won’t lie. I really wanted to try IE7 out to see if it works on my website and give an objective analysis on how fast it is and how the tabs are and if it displays my website correctly or not. So how far did i get? Right up to the “Validate your Windows” part. At that point for reasons I’m not really sure of i decided not to go any farther because i had the feeling that if I did I’d be reinstalling soon enough And that IE7 wouldn’t finish installing anyway because there might be errors validating for whatever reason?..
Anyway i’m still quite interested as to how well it will display my site. We’ll just have to see. I’ll write again when it does. But atm I’m still recovering from getting Bill Gate’s shaft early in the morning.

Wordpress and Opera Mini on a SonyEricsson phone.
So i was at Rathaus Berlin-Mitte and actually right now! I figured that I should try to access my blog through Opera Mini and it works! I would of course give credit to opera mini which allows internet access and some java script. The program runs on standard j2me and can be downloaded at the opera website, opera.com. The only problem is SE phones have a limit on text entered in a field. Oh well.
Website is up (Sort of…)
Well i began the rewrite of my website. You can see the results thus far by simply visiting it at www.djdmitry.com (Just replace blog with www ). I ofcourse still have a lot of work and a lot too fix. But slowly but surely i will finish it up . I will start with a mix page pretty soon for anyone who wanted to listen to my mixes. I will hopefully generate podcasts which will make it easy for everyone to keep track of mixes as they are being released I also plan to add photos at one point.
Anyway the idea is, keep checking
